About Ranja Łuszczek
As a textbook millennial, I spent my childhood torn between climbing trees and playing computer games – and never quite grew out of either. Small wonder the Twin Transition, a concept describing the parallel pursuit of digitalisation and sustainability, has become my soft spot.
Nature and technology are inherently bound: environmental concerns are embedded in technology, and innovation is harnessed so that nature thrives. My practice lived on the nature side of that equation for almost a decade, before finally branching out towards the regulation of emerging technologies. Whether you need to know where your digital product sits under the EU rulebook or turn your sustainability goals into commitments you can actually keep, I am here to connect all the dots and help you draft an innovative and well-considered legal strategy, be it for the boardroom or the courtroom.
Though I counsel on automation, I resist assembly-line work. I care for each client individually, providing them with full attention and diligence. I pick my projects selectively, and I take my time to ensure they are handled with the highest quality. Call it a quirk of our times, but I do like my job. Puzzling out the case is as satisfying as seeing my invoice paid.

Since 2018 I've been part of ClientEarth, a leading environmental charity, advising on value chains, trade and investment. I also practised at DZP (ranked in Chambers Europe), at the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights, and within the Polish court system. On the academic side, I'm a graduate of the University of Warsaw, where I took my master's and wrote a doctoral dissertation on access to justice. My work was supervised by Professor Marcin Wiącek, formerly Poland's Ombudsman. I also completed postgraduate studies in the energy sector at the Warsaw School of Economics. After a three-year attorney's traineeship and the bar exam, I was admitted to the Warsaw Bar in 2023.
